A list of the main books I read:
- Lord of the Flies
- The Last World War
- Purple Hibiscus
- The Art of the Deal
- ATDPTI
These are the main books that I read during my English career as a freshman. This year, I have learned to focus on certain aspects of a book while reading. These focuses can come together to form a more in-depth understanding of a certain book. In Lord of the Flies, I focused on Simon in the context of him being Jesus. This was the entire subject of my Literary Analysis. For Purple Hibiscus, I mainly focused on the setting in Nigeria and how it had a profound effect on the dynamics of the plot. This was also done as an assignment.
